The Qualifier 5 is completely different from the Q3+. The grip is extremely close to what you would get from a race slick. It’s a perfect track day tire that you can also ride on the street. If you just use your bike for spirited canyon-carving or trackday riding, these are great tires with exceptional grip even in wet weather. They warm up very quickly and do not require tire warmers. Not recommended if you mainly commute because they do not last as long as the Q3+.
